Private lessons are the fastest, easiest, and best way to learn to fence. You can start immediately, at a time that fits your busy schedule, and the best part is that individual lessons are completely tailored to you. One of our experienced coaches will work with you to develop fencing skills and a style that suits your ability and your personality.
Private lessons are available for all ages and skill levels — from complete beginners who want one-on-one attention to competitive fencers looking to sharpen specific skills. Each lesson is approximately 20-30 minutes of focused instruction.
What to Expect
Your coach will assess your current level and tailor each lesson to your goals. Beginners will start with basic footwork and blade mechanics. More experienced fencers will work on tactics, timing, and competition preparation. You'll get immediate feedback and corrections that are hard to get in a group setting.
What to Bring
- Comfortable athletic clothing (long pants recommended)
- Athletic shoes with non-marking soles
- A water bottle
Equipment is provided for beginners. If you own your own gear, feel free to bring it.
How to Schedule
Contact us to schedule your first lesson. Lessons are available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 to 9:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. We'll match you with a coach based on your goals and availability.
